• The Talisman of Luck increases the success rate of the combination, but it is not mandatory.
• Make sure all items are in the inventory before starting the combination.

Access the Chaos Machine, under the option Wings & Cloak combinations, 5th Wing Relic.

Damage Correction

What is Damage Correction?

Damage Correction is a special combat modifier introduced with 5th Wings in the official Webzen / IGCN version of MU Online.

This attribute does not directly increase raw damage or reduce incoming damage like Damage Increase or Damage Absorption. Instead, it applies a correction factor during the final stage of the damage calculation, based on the comparison between the attacker’s and the target’s Damage Correction values.

Each 5th Wing has a fixed Damage Correction value that increases automatically with the enhancement level:

• +0 Enhancement: Damage Correction 1
• +15 Enhancement: Damage Correction 16

During combat, the game compares the Damage Correction value of the attacker with that of the target:

• If the attacker’s Damage Correction is higher than the target’s, the final damage dealt is increased and hit effectiveness is improved.
• If the target’s Damage Correction is higher, incoming damage is reduced, even after Damage Absorption and other defensive modifiers are applied.

Damage Correction is calculated after:

• Base damage
• Defense reduction
• Damage Increase
• Damage Absorption
• PvP modifiers

Because of this, Damage Correction has a significant impact on high-level PvP combat, helping to reduce extreme damage gaps between endgame characters and adding depth to wing progression.

Important notes:

• Damage Correction is exclusive to 5th Wings.
• The value scales only with wing enhancement level.
• It cannot be rerolled, removed, or modified by options.
• The effect applies to both PvE and PvP, but is most noticeable in PvP situations.
